All week, I was tasked with the double duty of watching Drew and carrying out my duties as a servant. Unable to keep up, I decided to confide in April and Jess. April had been ecstatic to meet the old dog but Jess had been wary.
“It’s risky to keep him here for long. The guards do routine checks daily and a bark from a dog this big will surely attract attention.”
