CASSANDRA We left wet footprints all over the patio as we sprinted through the muck. Fabio dragged me inside and into the kitchen, where the caterers stopped what they were doing. The clatter of dishes and pots, the roar of orders, and the silence that followed as Fabio turned and smashed me against the wall with his mouth on my neck, my jaw, my ears, and my lips. He put a hand on my side and grabbed my breast as I was wearing my wedding dress. I could feel him getting firmer against my stomach. He returned to my neck and hissed, "Tonight." You'll walk with a limp on that Fijian beach because of how hard I'm going to consummate this marriage tonight.
