My thoughts was reminded of how I proposed to her as I was driving, and it was a little different from prior proposals.
THE PROPOSAL MONTHS AGO...
"Given that I'm prepared to go completely naked myself, I'll admit it's fairly convenient."
After opening the door, Cassy approached me directly.
"As soon as I heard you were flirting with the flower girl, I wanted that pretty mouth on me."
I grumbled. "Oh, please." Then I stopped. The question is, "How did you know about that?"
She grinned. "Vanessa is an excellent English speaker. You're so adorable when you're irritated," she said. "That she got sick of hearing you mope and put you down there," I concurred.
"She--what?"
"However, I'm delighted you didn't choose to return with Miriam. That might have been uncomfortable."
