CHAPTER 18 MICHAELMia had been nervous all night. For a moment, I saw her loosen up when she went to the bar and chatted with the bartender, who looked to be around her age. I didn’t know what she was so worried about though. She had done wonderful tonight. After she disappeared into the restroom, I waited at a table for her to come back, so we could leave.
