Celebrating a birthday with an infant around was very different from those of previous years. Davis was a little miffed I refused to celebrate without Cash, but since the day he was born, I hadn't missed anything with him. I spent as much time with him as Hayden did, and if he could talk, he'd tell the world he loved me more than his mommy. I giggled, knowing it wasn't true, but we had a tight bond.
