Two years might not seem like a long time to anyone else, but to me, it was an eternity. I'd never been in any relationship-long or short term-so I was excited as hell to celebrate this one with Davis. I did as he'd asked and bought myself a new dress-simple, black and floor-length, off the shoulder with a slit a mile long that went up the side. It was elegant and classy, and I loved it.
