MY first agenda on Monday is to set up a meeting with the HR Manager in charge of compensation and benefits. I was curious to know what the medical benefits for the employees are. I found out that basic medical services are covered for the employees and their dependents. After checking with the health insurance coordinator, I found out that the speech therapies that Miko needed are not covered. I made an arrangement to upgrade Marco’s medical insurance so the company will cover those therapies. I agreed to shoulder the expenses myself and made the HR manager swear not to tell anyone about this arrangement.
