Jack’s POV
I woke up in bed and took a big deep breath. Inhaling the smell of violets told me my mate was still right there beside me. I opened my eyes seeing that I was laying on my side facing her. She was laying on her stomach with her face turned towards me. She was sleeping heavily and awkwardly. How was that position even comfortable?
I moved to get out of bed and go to the bathroom. I planned to shower this morning before breakfast so I took this opportunity to get cleaned up. As I showered I thought about how my mate looked and reacted to me last night. I needed to prove to her that she was what I wanted and needed in this life. Our bodies were already reacting to the mating bond, I just needed to get her mind on board.
