I woke up the next morning, determined as hell to start my life fresh. After the big talk that Cole and I had, I went downstairs to see everyone. Ace, Maverick, their girlfriends who I can’t seem to remember their names, Joel and Eve, and Cole joined Mia, were all there for me. I had all my friends in one place, not realizing how lucky I was. Even if I didn’t have someone by my side, I would always have these guys, even if they were whipped as hell.
For the rest of the night, I spent playing with the baby. They named her Zoe, and strangely it fits perfectly. She was a few months shy of a year old but was smart as hell. Out of all my friends, she seemed more level-headed. Before last night, I’d never really thought about having kids before, but maybe it had changed my mind on the matter. T
