Alana Leaving Soren was hard, especially when I knew how much he wanted me to stay with him. I couldn’t imagine how much it was eating him up inside to know that I was going home where Nate would be waiting for me. After we had washed up, I gave enough time for my hair to dry before pinning it into a ponytail. Once that was done, I had left. Soren was inside, watching from the second floor. I didn’t have to look up to see that. He was sweet enough to call an Uber for me and wouldn’t dare let me think about paying, so he paid the Uber driver in advance. Soren had a rough exterior but was one hell of a sweet man. For a brief second, I thought that Nate wasn’t home when I arrived.
