After a few hours of waiting and drinking, it was time for everyone to get ready and get into their positions. Joel had Cole be his best man, which I was just fine with. I was one of the groomsmen, along with Ace and Maverick. Because Eve didn’t have very many close girlfriends, Mia was her only maid of honor. Mia and Cole would be the first ones to walk in, and each of us guys would follow, taking our places beside Joel.
Eve didn’t invite a whole bunch of people. There were less than fifty people there, which I’m sure half she didn’t even know. Mia was the one responsible for invitations, and she went a little overboard from the looks of it. Eve wanted it more so to be her close friends and family, rather than a huge wedding. I guess that Mia had other plans.
