Shirley The next day, I woke up feeling calm and at ease for the first time in several months. Nothing happened despite my fears and knowing that I might have been at risk. Roger never came to me and has not even bothered me. I was not expecting it, and for the first time, I allowed myself to break. I cried about what I had witnessed.
