It took me about half an hour to get my bearings, shower, and get ready. I made my way downstairs, and Adam was sitting in the living room with Cadmus and Allegra. Adam’s eyes looked up and followed my descent, his eyes full of love, while I couldn’t stop thinking about what we were doing earlier and was inconveniently interrupted.
