Ievos had put some many miles on the road since the brothel and his horse was weary as his commands to the beast became obsolete and the horse collapsed exhausted. He knew he would have to source another; he would ride this creature to its death if he carried on. He gave the horse some water and some food and left him at the side of the road after removing the saddle and his packs and continuing on foot until he could find another settlement and hopefully purchase another mount. The walk was tiresome especially carrying the load he did, so he could understand why his horse had been beaten, the stallion had good stamina to last as he did but it was done.
