**Adaline's POV** When I was five, I remember trying to learn how to swim. Other kids were excited to learn, ready to be more independent and freer. Not me. I was terrified. It was during one of my classmate's pool parties for her birthday. Of course, parents were all around and we had our floats on, but my father thought it would be the day he starts my lessons.
