Melania's POV

I was enjoying my shopping trip for the first time I had a friend to go shopping with, I enjoyed the girl talk as well. We had fun shopping and visited about a dozen shops. I had enough money to start a new life somewhere and to last me a long time, my mum must have saved it for a long time, but then again she was one of the pack doctors and the Alpha's wife. Her salary was her own and even though my father did not show it after I was born and my mom could not have more pups. He loved her. I knew he did and that guilt drove him to drink for killing her. It does not mean I forgave him for what he did to me and my mom, but I think he was hurting as well and that made me feel good knowing he could not forgive himself and that he is suffering. I did not know he was already dead and that by the hand of my half-brother. After I bought some new clothes we went to the cafe and ordered some pizza and soft drinks. While we sat there a few young men in about their twenties came in, I notice that they were young wolves but not from Rose's pack. Rose was not paying attention to them and was chatting away. I kept a watchful eye on the young wolves not knowing if they were friendly or not. They looked at me in awe as I was n beautiful young girl with my moon ray color hair and ice-blue eyes. I am not vain but I know what I see in the mirror every morning. I am still getting used to my new look as well. I can still not believe that my dark brown hair and green eyes have turned into another color. "Earth to Melania" I hear Rose giggle and I had to giggles as well as I was zoomed out. "Sorry Rose I was just thinking about some stuff and that I will have to continue my journey soon as my wolf is getting very restless” I felt a little sad knowing I will have to leave my friend behind. "Can't you just stay with us?" she asked, I shook my head and I saw her eyes turn teary, so I quickly said "I will always come and visit after I have completed my mission for the Goddess" She smiled at me and said "Promise" "I promise" I answer and prayed to the Goddess that I will still be alive to fulfill that promise. "They say you are the King's mate, I heard he is really handsome but cruel, I will pray to the Goddess that he will not mistreat you," she said. I was still watching the young wolves from the corner of my eye and I saw them starting to mind link. One broke out in laughter he must find something in that mind link very funny. The other grinned but for some reason, they did not dare to laugh like the blond one. My wolf was on alert as we watch them carefully. They walked over to us and I am ready to defend if they try something. "Sorry your Highness for disturbing you, but we could not help overhearing that you are the chosen Queen for our King, we are on a mission for our king and we will escort you to the kingdom as soon as our mission is finished" I look at them in surprise, still not completely trusting them. Just then Rose's eyes met the told blond handsome guy that was talking to me and both of them froze. "Mate" I heard both of them say at the same time. I was intrigued by the two of them. "Well you two will make beautiful blond pups together" I giggled and I saw Rose blush red as a ripe tomato. The young wolf gave me a sheepish look and just smiled not knowing what to say. The other guys broke out laughing at the two of them.

Ethan's POV

I was pacing up and down in my office. I was worried and bored all at the same time. It felt like something was about to happen, something I had no control over. I have not had s*x since the day I had that dream and it frustrated the hell out of me. Every time I just looked at another she-wolf I felt guilty. What the hell was wrong with me? Maybe someone put a spell on me. My mother walks in and looks at me as if I was a stranger. "What is wrong with you? You look like death" she asked concerned. "I have a lot on my mind lately mom." I do not want her to worry about my uncle and the rogue problems we have had lately, so I did not tell her anything about it. "It is about her isn't it?" she asked. "About who?" I asked. I did not want to talk to her about the she-wolf thing again so I kept myself stupid pretending I did not know what or who she was talking about. "I am your mother Ethan and something is bothering you, I know you do not want to have a mate because you are afraid that she will weaken you, but I can assure you that it will not be the case with you mate, she was designed for you, to make you stronger, not weaker, so stop worrying yourself to death about that" I sigh. “I do not want to talk about it," I said and walk over to the bar and pour myself a scotch and her a cherry. I need to relax a bit. "You are not a pup anymore Ethan and you need a strong mate to help you carry the burden of running this kingdom. Someone that can help you carry the load and understand you that will be there for you in good and bad times. Someone that can calm that wolf of yours" she said concerned. "I do not need someone mom, I am strong enough and will be strong for you and the kingdom until the day I die," I said. "And then Ethan after you die who will be there for you people? You need a strong pup like his dad that can take over from you and protect your people and the kingdom" she said worriedly. "Ever heard off a surrogate?" I asked her. She almost exploded. "My grandson will not be born from some surrogate!!!  He will have a loving father AND mother" I really pissed my mom off. "Promise me you will never talk that nonsense with me ever again Ethan because even though I love you to death I will disown you if you try a stunt like that" I looked at her in surprise. Wow, my mom is feisty at her age! I do not want to lose her as well so I just said "I promise."  "So tell me what is really bothering you," she asked and I knew she would not leave me alone until I told her, so I told her about the dream I had. "I can not look at other she-wolves any more mom without feeling guilty" Well I had to tell her something and that was all that came to my mind as I do not want her to worry about my uncle coming after her again. To my surprise, she laughed till the tears ran down her cheeks. I did not see her laugh like this since my father died. I was annoyed but also thankful that I could make her laugh. "Now I am not worried about your surrogate plan anymore" She laughed. "You saw your mate in a dream and already you are under her spell?" she said still laughing. "I knew it that bloody she-wolf put a spell on me didn't she" I growled. "No dear she did not but I think the Moon Goddess herself might have played a little trick on you.." She smiled and walked out. Happy that nothing serious was wrong with me. "You are just lovesick and misses you mate even though you have only seen her in a dream," she said before leaving. I almost had a heart attack listening to her. This bloody she-wolf! I hate her already. I am going to kill her the first time I lay my eyes on her!!! I feel also mad at myself for telling my mum about the bloody dream. I turned my mind back to business.

I send my Beta Chris and a few of my best warriors on a mission to a little town where I heard there was trouble with some rogues. I trust Chris the most and he is supposed to report back to me on the mission as soon as he found out who the rogues were that made the trouble. I was looking for my uncle I have to find him and take him down he has been recruiting rogues to fight his evil battle all over the States and I was not about to let him get a hold of any area. I mind linked Chris to find out what is happening "We are with you mate in a small cafe in town and good luck rejecting her she is the most beautiful creation the Goddess ever made" I heard Hunter growl "MINE!!!" "Shut up stupid mutt!" but I knew my warriors heard that and Chris broke out laughing. "Do not worry Alpha we will not touch you mate" I was angry on the spot I did not send them after a worthless she-wolf I wanted to know about the rogues. "Any news about the rogues, you remember the mission I send you on?" I asked sarcastically. "No signs of rogues yet your highness" one of the other warriors replayed and I relax a bit but my wolf was excited and wanted to hear more about the she-wolf, but I pushed him back and cut the link. Damn this woman is a pain!!!

Melania's POV

I saw them stare at each other in awe and I smile well our little Rose fell in love in a second. I found it amazing as I look at the two of them. "What is your name?" I ask "Chris your highness" he answers and I could see it took all his effort to look away from Rose who was blushing. "Well I am Melania and this is Rose. Would you like to join us for a bit?" They looked at each other not sure what to do my wolf came forward and said in a demanding way "Sit”. They did as they were told and I do not know who was more surprised me or them. I laughed at their faces I see, the disbelieve of what just happened they only listen to their King and no one else, yet here they are following my command. I could see that they looked worried as well. "What is bothering you" Chris answered "The King send us here on a mission to find out about rogues making trouble in this area," Rose told them what happened with the rogues. They all looked surprised at me but I just smiled and said nothing. But they started to ask us all kinds of questions. "What did the rogues look like?" "Was there an old rogue with them?" And many more questions. I could see they were well trained but it felt like we were under a police investigation and it started to irritate me. "Enough" I barked at them at last and again they looked at me in disbelieve as I took on a very Alpha-like attitude towards them. It was time for us to go home, but I saw Rose and Chris were reluctant to leave each other's side, so we invited them to stay with us until their mission was over and they were sure that there were no more rogues in this area.

I was in a hurry to start my magic training with the witch Alice as soon as we arrived home I went to search for her. I found her in the garden waiting for me. "Before we start you need to understand magic.  You draw energy from yourself to perform a magical act Melania, if you draw too much energy from yourself you might feel weak and need rest for a few hours or if you draw too much you might even kill yourself but you are stronger than a witch and can use more energy. The elements run through your body and you draw your energy from it" At least I got her to call me by my name when we were alone. "How do I so that?" I ask "Magic happens when you embrace who you really are Melania, magic is not just something you do Melania it is something you are. You can also harvest energy from nature, but if you use too much it can damage nature, Melania. Magic is a big responsibility and must be handled with care and used only for good."
