Chapter 4 The next morning, Megan woke to the sound of male voices and barking dogs. When she opened her eyes, she saw a cat on either side of her, waiting for her to wake up and feed them. As she raised her arm to reach for the alarm clock to check the time, she couldn’t help the groan that escaped her in protest of the movement. “Great, sore muscles and sunburn.
