Hades’ Glass was a triangular-shaped glasshouse that was built in 1973 by Harold and Camille Hadesford. Camille was a world-renowned glass artist. She passed away at sixty-three in 1991. She used the glasshouse as her studio. Her elongated human-shaped pieces sold in the millions before, during, and after her death. Following her passing, Harold, her beloved husband of forty-one years, opened Hades’ Glass, which was part-museum and part-gift shop of Camille’s reproductions. Harold, with Camille’s estate, had hired three glass artists to create her human-like reproductions, which fans locally, and globally, purchased, taking a little piece or memory of the artist home to display.
