Chapter 9 The next day, about midmorning, Dezi was talking on the phone. “Okay. Eleven o’clock it is,” Dezi said while looking down at his watch. After replacing the receiver on the base, he rushed into the bedroom, shook Rox, and said, “Get up, lazy bones. We have an appointment.” “Huh? What are you talking about?” Rox mumbled sleepily, and turned over to go back to sleep until he noticed Dezi rushing around. He then sat up, scratched his head, and yawned. “Hey, what’s with you? So what is this appointment we have?” “I managed to get an appointment with a therapist. Ordinarily it would have taken weeks, but he was in town for a convention and had a couple of free hours before the meetings start.” “Damn. I wanted to sleep in.” “Hell, man, you did sleep in.
