Nila felt her face turning red and hot. So SO HOT. Sweat is now trickling down her temples and back. She could feel sweat gathering at her armpits. She will be drenched in perspiration within a few seconds at this rate. Her plain cotton shirt will be drenched.
“I…er…I…phew…it’s hot out here, isn’t it?” she broke eye contact and flapped her hands, as if fanning herself. She looked around, the street is quiet. There were not many people around, probably due to the afternoon heat.
