"It's her, isn't it?" she choked out, her voice thick with emotion. "It's because of her that you've been ignoring me. Because of her, you can't love me." She said, her voice hoarse from the tears. "What are you doing here?" Adonis repeated, his voice devoid of emotion. He closed the bathroom door behind him, a towel draped around his waist, drops of water trailing from his hair down his chest. "I can't believe it," she chuckled bitterly through her tears. "Six years I've been trying, six years I've done everything to make you notice me. Six years I've loved you, not realizing I was competing with a dead woman for your attention. A woman who was no better than me when she was alive."
