"They have always been very close since they were younger, and that hasn't changed one bit in recent years, even when they went to different colleges." Almost jumping out of bed, I was completely confused at seeing Ray there.
... I hadn't noticed him come in earlier, and not even the aroma that always seemed to accompany him, I hadn't picked up on until then, which I would have preferred if it had stayed that way...
I didn't know how to explain what that smell was, and when I asked Serena about it earlier, she just stared at me with a puzzled look on her face before seeming to think of something else that made her blush right away, even though she hadn't said anything to me in the end.
