I lay in my bed, tears streaming down my face as I hugged my dear teddy bear.
I showed my parents I could transform into a wolf. I thought they would be excited like I was... but it didn't seem that way. Mama seemed scared... and daddy... he never looked at me like that before...
I didn't like how he looked at me.
Did I do something wrong?
Why would mommy be scared of me? That couldn't be... yeah, I must've seen wrong. They were probably surprised.
I was surprised too...
They just need some time. Yes... everything's gonna be fine tomorrow.
A faint sound woke me up.
Mama's tear-stained face is looking down at me.
"Mama... what's wrong?"
She took my face in her hands and kissed my forehead.
"Everything is going to be okay. It's gonna be fine. You'll be fine.
