**two weeks later**
Everything had been going swimmingly. I had been working at Bentley's Playhouse for a few weeks now and had a little money saved up. I had tried to give Kandy half of all the money I had saved but she refused to take it every time I offered. She said she had everything she needed and I didn't need to worry about giving her anything. I had been saving up to rent my own apartment or something so that Kandy could have her space back, even though she insisted she was okay with me staying.
