4 Trudy parked her Chevette on the driveway in front of her house. She and Rocky had bought it as a fixer-upper, but she loved it. The old, single pane windows rattled something fierce when the wind blew, particularly during the winter storms, but that added to the house’s charm. Rocky should have had most of the remodeling done by now, but his love of beer had grown since they moved to Fairview. He’d always been a drinker, but he had never drunk as much as he did now.
