Uncas sent some warriors to scout a few miles out. He hasn’t spoken much because all he can think about is killing Coyote and his men. Uncas has heard about some renegade Indians who have been killed in every town they travel to. He’s beginning to believe Coyote and his men are responsible since he saw the horrible aftermath at his camp.
Azul has been helping tend to the children some of them lost their family and siblings due to Coyote. She looks at Uncas and knows that he won’t stop hunting Coyote until one of them is dead. As much as she loves her man and doesn’t want him to die Azul is proud of him and prays that Wakan Tanka is with him the day the two men come face to face.
