On the way to South Dakota Coyote's men have become restless they haven’t attacked another town since Yankton. Coyote has only one thing or person on his mind. That’s Qaletaqa. He wants to be the man to kill the legendary Qaletaqa who people say can’t die. Fig Leaf keeps telling him if they don’t do something to calm the men he doesn't how much longer he can control the men.
Coyote is about to say something when he hears women and children. He signals for his men to be quiet while walking through some trees. Fig Leaf is walking behind him taps his back and points to the creek at some women bathing. Coyote grins, walks back to his camp, and motions for his men to follow him.
