I guess I was not the only one who could not sleep. I walked in, and standing at the counter shirtless was the Alpha himself, my so-called mate.
I walked to the fridge and opened it. I grabbed a bottle of water and went to leave the room.
"Not going to say hi to me, Willow?" Lucas asked.
I turned around and looked into his eyes.
"Hello," I said and turned and walked out.
"Wait, wait, wait, Willow," Lucas chased after me.
"What is it? What is wrong?"
"Just needed a drink," I said.
" I have been having a very bad night."
"Willow my love, did you take the medicine the doctor gave you?" Lucas asked.
"Nope," I answered.
"Well, come on, I will take you back to bed and give you your medicine. I will even snuggle with you till you fall asleep, OK?"
I turned and looked at him.
