I stared at her as she slept in my arms, exhausted. I was trying to wrap my mind around what just happened, but no matter how much I thought about it, it wasn’t making sense. I had followed her into her room after she had seen me helping Sean. I confronted her, got mad at her, and kissed her. She should have been mad at me, I should have been wary of her trying to kill me for the next few days until she cooled down, but instead, she followed me into my room and broke down in front of me.
