Author’s POV
Cara calms a little and she comes down from the counter that Sam placed her, but as soon as she wants to get out of the kitchen, she comes face to face with Luke Navarro, and she shivers being a little scared of him.
"I'm sorry, gamma," she said, and put her head down.
"I was looking for you," Luke said. "Can you talk?" he asks her gently looking at her and he signals her to follow him back into the kitchen.
“Forgive him” he says looking into her eyes.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Cara said looking at him.
"Sam, forgive him. Don't reject him, not yet at least. Give him a chance to understand what he will lose. ”
“He rejected me. There is nothing to understand, Gamma ”Cara said with sadness and dignity.
