Author’s POV
"Did you see Meredith?" Cara asks Sam, looking around already panicking.
"No, she was with Max." Sam said searching for Max in the crowd.
“She is not. That jerk offended her again and went somewhere, probably he is seducing someone to make Meredith suffer.”
“Impossible, he cares about her. He will never hurt his mate. ” Sam tells her very convinced of what he says.
“What is so impossible? “ Cara asks nervously. "Didn't you do the same thing with me?"
And Sam’s heart stops.
"Did I Hurt You?" he asks.
"No Sam, you gave me the greatest joy of my life when you rejected me." and beginning to erupt, she bursts out:
“That’s it ! I am going after her in the bathroom. She should have come out by now!”
