"What did she say?" I ask Stark because I'm convinced I didn't hear correctly.
“She said…” Stark said “she said that she loves us!” and if I could see him right now I am sure that his tail will be moving from side to side and he would have some puppy eyes.
“Tell me again” I whisper to her ear trying to keep this moment just for us even if I know that our parent heard her because they are just looking at us with tears in their eyes, as if they are witnessing an event that will change you the fate of mankind.
“I love you too, Max” she said blushing and making me to realize that I am not hearing voices in my head and she, Meredith Quinn, my wife, my mate, my all, She is telling me that she loves me.
