I used my connections to learn more about Summer. From the surface, she seems like a typical nineteen years old girl from a middle-class family, but when I dug deeper into her history, I found out that both of her parents died from a car accident when she was only 10 years old which she miraculously survived. The state wanted to turn her over to the foster care but her aunt took her in and raised her in her care. There were rumors that she was being abused by her aunt but by the time a social worker reached out, the aunt was able to maintain a picture-perfect family image. Social workers couldn't find anything out because of a lack of evidence.
