Stolen by the Dragons

Artimis

I woke up two days ago and I have not been able to mind link with Apollo nor has my mother been able to link with my father. My mother, brothers and I must remain as silent as possible because when my mother woke up she discovered warriors outside the cave entrance. They have yet to come in but we are all ready to fight if need be. According to my mother she over heard the guards talking about how they felt useless watching over some sleeping dragons, so we remain silent using the dirt as a form of communication. 

Each day a small amount of light shines into the cave and it slightly warms up which we our thankful for because for some reason this cave does not allow us to use any of our abilities. Mind linking, dragon sight and the ability to call on the flame of the dragon to warm our bodies does not work for any of us.  Thankfully Apollo and Father had enough supplies in the cave to last us for awhile. They must have known there was possibility of danger and wanted us to be safe. 

My brother Atticus has been leaving daily trying to find another entrance into the cave but without light he is unable to see and is growing very frustrated. I know how he feels because neither of us like to be confined but I am slightly more angry then he is. I want to help my mate and I want to be there when they save her but I am stuck here. They could not wait for me and made sure my mother woke me up last. I am beyond angry but there is nothing I can do about it. 

Apollo POV 

"My mother is a very powerful witch. Come, come we must hurry." The young girl named Elle said. She had beautiful black hair with blue tips on the bottom and her eyes were deep green. She had to be about fifteen years old but seemed so much older. 

My father and I looked at each other and after my father nodded we began to follow the young girl. She was walking very quickly throughout the forest we were practically jogging to keep up with her. "Um Ell could you slow down?" My father said. She stopped and looked at us as we approached her. "Oh I'm sorry I sometimes forget how fast I am compared to others." 

"So Ell if your mother is a witch then how can you move so quickly? Witches do not move that quickly." My father said and she chuckled. "Oh my mother isn't just a witch but she is a dragon. So our my fathers." She said and began to walk again. "Wait Ell." My father said and she stopped and looked at us. "What our your parents names?" He asked. "My mothers name is Jill and my fathers names our Jericho and Noble. Any other questions or can we hurry up?" She asked seeming annoyed now. "Yes of course child." And she began to walk again with my father and I in tow. 

"So Ell how old our you?" I asked. She has slowed down enough for my father and I keep up. "I am sixteen." She said while blushing. "Ah so have you been lucky enough to find your mates yet?" I asked. "No I have not but my mother said I will find them soon and I am very nervous." 

"Why having a mate is a good thing." My father said. "Yes and no. My mother said that I will meet them but not know we our mates until a tragedy happens to them. There mate will die unexpectedly but I will meet them again." She said with a small smile. "I do not want them to feel pain. I'd rather they have there mate and live happily." 

"I understand child but if it is meant to be it will be." MY father said while looking at me. I knew what he thought but I could not even think of losing Lisa. I pray silently that she is not talking about Artimis and I. My father touched my shoulder and I looked at him and he whispered "I don't think it's you son. You have yet to mate with Lisa yet." And I nodded yes. 

"It's just past these trees." Ell said. We walked past several thick layers of trees and straight into a meadow. The meadow had a beautiful river flowing through it and a tiny wooden cottage stood right in the middle of it. "Come, come my mother will be happy to meet you." Ell said and began to run towards the house. 

"Dad do you think this is wise?" He stopped and looked at me. "Honestly son I am not sure." He said and kept walking. Ell reached her house and ran in screaming mom, mom come quick. I stopped and so did my father. "Now we wait and prepare to fight son." I nodded my head. Just then two men and a women walked out with Ell following behind them. 

As they approached the women who I am assuming is Ells mother Jill had a big smile on her face. Her hair was long and blond and her eyes were grey but the two men with her had black hair and sea green eyes. They were identical twins. 

"Hello I am Zeon and this is my son Apollo." My father said. "Hello I am Jill and these our my mates Jercho and Noble. Welcome." Jill said as she stood before us. "You daughter said you might be able to help us." 

"Of course I can but before I can help you the ones you traveled with need my help first."
