Stolen by the Dragons

Chapter 5

-Lisa-

Apollo has brought me to the most beautiful place I have ever seen. There are trees I have never seen before. Some have white bark and other have brown. The leaves are shaped differently. Some look like stars and others look like circles. There are so many different colors and shapes. Even the flowers are different but the most beautiful thing I have ever seen is the falls. The water is so clear coming down the fall and the water in the lake is so crystal blue. It is enchanting here. I never want to leave. 

I walked around smelling the flowers and touching the trees. I love it here. Apollo is watching me with the biggest smile on his face. My body is tired so I decide to lay in the meadow and Apollo joins me. He grabs my hand and locks are fingers together. I feel sparks shooting up and down my body. I have already started to develop feelings for him but I also know that I can't truly give him my all not until I can move on from Leo. 

"Lisa are you ok?"

"Ya I was just thinking about Leo." 

"Tell me about him." 

I am taken back by that question. Shouldn't he be jealous or angry? 

'He doesn't want us to forget about Leo or take his place hun.' My wolf Marry says. 

'Ok'

'Tell him how we met Leo'

I smiled thinking about that day we became mates.

'Leo and I have known each other since I was born. His father was my fathers Beta and he was Ryan's beta. I watched him my whole life make the wrong choices and the right ones. I was around thirteen when I noticed him and I got so angry because he didn't see me the way I saw him." I chuckled. "One day I was fourteen when I gathered the courage and decided I was going to kiss him. He was flirting with other wolves and I even caught him having s*x with one of my friends. She was two years older then me. He was in the kitchen making a sandwich and he I decided to just kiss him. He turned around and I ran up to him and kissed him. He was in shock and then he said no and proceeded to tell me why I was in the wrong. I felt so guilty I cried and made myself disappear from him." Apollo squeezed my hand. "Anyways as I grew up he and I stopped talking but the days leading up to my sixteenth birthday I began to smell oranges and bacon in the house. I love oranges and bacon and I knew my mate was there but I didn't know who. It was small hints of his scent here or there. Well the day of my birthday I got up, showered and put on a sundress. As I walked out of my room Leo was walking by and he stopped and looked at me and said mate. He pulled me into my room and we began to mate but were unable to finish because my brother got worried I didn't show for breakfast. I love breakfast. He walked in on Leo and I and he pulled him off of me and began to punch him. I mind linked the gamma and are lead warrior Blake and they came to help. Well Ryan was pulled away my gamma James and head Warrior Blake tended to Leo. Leo avoided me for a week because of my brother but eventually he came back. He had my favorite food, flowers and movie in hand when he came knocking on my door. I had him for six months but he made those six months the best." I felt tears coming down my cheek. 

"Did he know about the babies?"

"No. Weeks leading up to the attack he became distant and was hardly around. He never noticed I was sick and he didn't notice through our bond. I went to the doctor and found out I was pregnant and I had a ultrasound scheduled for the next day. I wanted Leo there with me. He wanted a big family. He never knew about them." 

"I'm sorry love he sounds like a great man."

"He was. Has there ever been anyone special for you?" 

"When Arty and I were in are early years we were play boys. I won't lie we our old honey. Seven hundred and fifty give or take."

"Wow" 

"Ya we live a long time. Well when we were younger we use to date. Sometimes we would share but other times we would not. I was about two hundred and fifty and I met this one women a human. Her name was Alice. She was perfect and I wanted to mate her. I told her I needed to come home and I might be away for awhile and she was ok with that. I came to talk to my father because when a dragon mates the mate changes. My father forbid it because Artimis must mate with her to. I left for over two hundred years. I told her what I was and she excepted me. I stayed with her until she died of old age and I remained in the human realm long after. I was angry and in pain." 

"I'm sorry Apollo. Did you guys have any children?"

"She did get pregnant but the child died before birth. In order for any of us to have kids we must be mated. Our mates take on what we call a dragons flame and that flame not only gives you a extended life but allows you to carry a dragon child."

"Seriously?"

"Yes"

"How do dragons mate?"

"That my little mate I will save for another night." 

We talked for a little longer and decided to leave. This day has been amazing so far. As we began to leave I heard a song the most beautiful song I have ever heard. I started to walk towards the lake and as I got closer I saw him my Leo. I ran for him he was there. I heard Leo begin to scream for me but I didn't care it was Leo. I felt tears streaming down my face and I ran into his embrace. 

"Leo how are you here?"

"I came home and you were not there I came to take you home." 

I just smiled and felt joy. He came back to me.
