Apollo
I decided to take a break from working on the house and went to work in the garden. I began to pull out carrots when I saw a portal open. I stopped what I was doing and looked at the portal. All of a sudden my father appeared and right next to him was Lisa and the babies. I closed my eyes and when I opened them she was walking towards me pushing the babies in a stroller. I stood up and began to walk towards them. "Lisa?" I said as I stopped in front of the stroller.
"Lisa I'll take the twins for a walk so you both can talk and I will let Celeste know we our here so she can find Artimis." My father said.
"Thank you Zeon for everything." She kissed each baby and showed my father were there diapers and food were. We watched my father walk away with the twins.
"Would you like to take a walk with me through the garden?" I said as I put my hand out. She smiled at me and grabbed it and we began to walk.
"You know Apollo I asked my brother to call you a month after you left and apparently he didn't." I growled I could not believe he would do that. "So when your father showed up today and offered to take me to you well I could not refuse." I stopped walking and pulled her into a hug.
"I am so happy you our here. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me." I whispered and she hugged me even tighter.
"I'm sorry I caused you so much pain." She said and pulled out my embrace.
"No baby you needed to heal." We began to walk again and made small talk. I showed her what I was gardening and soon my father returned with the twins. They were both out.
"Oh my goddess how did you do it?" She asked my father.
"Celeste always said I had the magic touch with the boys."
"Well in that case can you be free daily for naps and bedtime?" She asked. My father and I chuckled.
"Lisa I will help you with the twins." I said and she just smiled at me. We all walked up to back patio. Lisa parked the twins next to her seat and her and my father both sat down. I grabbed bottled water and some chips and dip from the pantry and took it outside.
"So dad has mom found Artimis?" I asked as I sat down and handed them the water bottles and put the chips and dip on the table.
"Thank you." Lisa said.
'Thanks son. Yes your mother has. She is cleaning him up and then they will come here." He said.
"What do you mean clean him up?" Lisa asked.
"Lisa dear. Artimis didn't take not being able to come to your realm after you were saved. Once Apollo told him your brothers wish he left and my son Atticus and I had to find him. He was sitting in the woods crying and then once we returned to draconia he has stayed drunk the whole time." My father said to her.
"I am sorry for what Artimis and Apollo have gone through."
"No dear you needed to heal." Before she could say anything one of the babies began to cry and then the other one. Lisa grabbed the little girl.
"Hello princess. Would you like to hold her?" She said as she looked me.
"I'd love to. What did you name them?" She handed me the baby and then took out the baby boy.
"Faith and Leo."
"Can I hold Leo?" My father asked and she handed him to him.
An hour later my father left to go see what was taking my mother and brother so long. Lisa and I played with the babies and then I began to cook dinner. I decided to grill steak, have mac and cheese for the babies to eat and make a salad from my garden. As I was grilling the steaks Lisa was giving each twin a bottle. "You know Lisa you our more then welcome to stay the night." I said. She looked up at me.
"And were would the twins stay?"
"I have a nursery set up for them, Remember I made those cribs hun." I said.
"I forgot about the cribs. Yes I'd like to stay." I finished dinner and we ate. She gave the twins a bath and put them to bed. I was sitting in the living room reading a book waiting for her to finish up.
"Do you have something I could wear to bed?" She asked. I looked up from my book and smiled.
"Ya follow me." We walked to my room and I pulled out a t-shirt and some gym shorts. "here you go." I said as I handed it to her.
"Thank you. Were am I going to sleep?" She asked.
"Well we can either share this bed or I can sleep in the guest room." I said hoping she would want to share a bed with me but I knew she wouldn't want to. Not yet at least.
"I can take the guest room."
"Honey this room is closer to the babies." I said.
"Okay. Can I take a shower?"
"Of course. The shower is over there and use anything you would like." I said as I pointed to the bathroom. "I'll be downstairs. I need to see what is going on with my brother."
"Thank you Apollo." I nodded and walked out of the room.
'Dad?' I said as I mind linked him.
'Ya son.'
'How is Arty?'
'He is sleeping it off. He is going to need professional help.'
'We will help him dad.'
'That we will. See you in the morning son.' my father said and severed the link between us. I heard Lisa get out of the shower but she did not come back downstairs. I locked up the house and headed to the spare room and fell asleep.
I woke up to the sound of crying. I slowly got out of bed and headed towards the babies room. The door was open and Lisa was in there with them. "Shh sweethearts. We do not want to wake Apollo." She said as she changed one of the babies diapers. I walked in and grabbed the crying baby. It was Faith. "i am sorry we woke you."
"No honey don't be sorry. I am more then happy to come help you." I said as I handed her Faith and took Leo from her. I kissed Leo on the head and put him in his bed and tucked him in. "Do they need to be fed?"
"No they just like having there butts changed." She said and she put Faith back in her bed. We waited for a moment but both twins fell back to sleep.
"Thank you." She said as we left the room and headed towards her room. Before she stepped in I grabbed her hand and pulled her to me. I kissed her head and looked her in the eyes. "Good night sweetheart." And began to walk away.
"Apollo wait." She said and I turned around. "Stay with me." I spent the night in bed with my mate in my arms.
