FIVE JUNE 26 Jason Shepard sat in Vince’s Coffee House, sipping his second cup of the morning and looking out onto the busy street. He checked the time and figured he should start moving. Leaving a five-dollar bill, he stepped out into the cool, early morning air and made his way to the Bank of America Tower at Fifth and Flower, but instead of walking into the massive glass foyer of the structure, he walked down the parking ramp and made his way down two levels, to where he knew the executives of Global Precision had reserved parking.
