Chapter 3For a few days, they lived an idyll. Bea kept house and cooked three hearty meals each day, which Angus extravagantly enjoyed. By night they loved and slept, dividing the night into several sessions of each. For the nonce, Bea let her worries slumber, giving over any thought of what she was to do sooner or later. I’ll cross that bridge when I must, but for now, I’ll just enjoy the blessings I have received.
