Evie never came back from the bathroom. I wanted to check up on her, but Luke wanted me to escort Ava to the meeting. I couldn't stop thinking about the way dhe had snapped at me. We weren't fighting. She was over the fact that I didn't tell her about Ava and Luke beings mates. I explained everything to her. Pretty sure today wasn't our anniversary or her birthday either.
