The next few weeks went by slowly. I was acclimating myself to the pack, and even made some new friends. I still spent most of my time with Evie though. I wasn't nervous about eating in the kitchen anymore, and we actually had a little group we ate with. It consisted of Evies other friend, a fairy named Celeste, her sister Catrina, and Sandy and Keegan who were actually the mom and son from the night of my announcement. Every meal we all cooed at and played with Keegan, giving Sandy a chance to eat in peace. He knew my name, but he preferred to call 'the doifien lady'. He was too cute.
