“Ivy, calm down.”
I shake my head at Aurora. “How can I calm down? I found Death, and he’s my mate. As soon as I kissed him, he changed. He didn’t wait around to talk; he flew away from me. Flew!” I screech, causing Aurora to cringe.
“Ivy, I understand why you’re freaking out. But this isn’t helping!”
I sigh while dropping into the nearest seat. “I can’t help being freaked out; my mate grew wings and flew away from me!”
“You said that.” Levi raises an eyebrow, but I ignore him.
I worked out Aaron was Death from what he was telling me. I was shocked, I’ll admit. Nothing before that moment had led me to believe I had finally found Lucifer’s brother. I couldn’t get my head around it, but I knew I had to confess my feelings before I woke him up. Knowing Aaron was Death did not change
