Chapter 6 After Rhys left later that afternoon, Lee looked over at me from where he sat on the rickety futon. He was on one end of it, and I the other. Rhys had sat between us while the movie played. Lee’s gaze disturbed me a little, because I wasn’t sure what he was thinking. We’d just finished one of the Expendables movies—blood and gore everywhere, just like Rhys—and apparently Lee—liked.
