“Chairman, what brought you here?” Franco casually greeted their barangay chairman and his alliance with him. Less the large secretary.  Siren was already on the last steps of the stairs when Franco opened the door. The chairman had a sour look on his face, and his usual light expression was missing. Seeing how his eyes narrowed to Franco, Siren was sure they came here for him. Not for her.  “We received a complaint against you,” the chairman answered deadpanned.  Siren shrugged. So she was right. But Franco looked clueless. And he’s not feigning it. He glanced at everyone with the chairman and to Siren. He pointed his finger to himself and tilted his head on the side.  Their visitors would think he's feigning innocence well enough, but Siren knew Franco. He’s what his expression tells
