Chapter 27 Gu Yize Was Bullied

Gu Yize quickly got up from the bed and reached out his little hand to wipe Su Qinglan's tears. He said tensely, "Don...Don't cry. I...I didn't say anything."

Su Qinglan had long wanted to find a chance to cry, but she did not expect that she would lose control of her emotions because of her son's words.

She wrapped her arms around Gu Yize's small body, choking back her tears and saying, "I'm not crying, my good boy."

Having never seen Su Qinglan like this before, Gu Yize was at a loss.

Gu Yize also burst out crying.

The sad cries of Su Qinglan and Gu Yize were heard by Gu Jinchi who was in the study room.

Gu Jinchi rushed to the room with an anxious expression. When he entered the room, he was almost tripped over by the thick carpet.

Gu Jinchi quickly steadied himself and reached out to pull Gu Yize from Su Qinglan's arms. Without hesitation, he hugged Su Qinglan tightly and patted her back to comfort her.

"What did you do?" Gu Jinchi asked with a serious expression, staring at Gu Yize.

Gu Yize, who was already a little afraid, was so sad for being wronged suddenly.

"It's not my fault. I didn't make Mommy cry," Gu Yize explained and tried to reach for Su Qinglan.

Gu Jinchi slapped Gu Yize's hand away without hesitation.

Feeling like he was not Gu Jinchi's biological son, Gu Yize cried even louder.

Su Qinglan had just been caught up in her own emotions. When she heard her son cry so miserably, she quickly came back to her senses.

"Gu Jinchi, what are you doing?" She broke free from Gu Jinchi's arms and hugged Gu Yize.

Now, it was Gu Jinchi who was surprised.

Looking at Gu Yize's tear-stained face, Su Qinglan felt sorry for him and said, "Son, don't cry. I got you."

Gu Yize always worked against his father at critical moments. He reached out his little red hand and complained, "He hit me."

"My boy, let me blow on your hand. It won't hurt anymore." Su Qinglan blew on Gu Yize's hand worriedly. At the same time, she looked daggers at Gu Jinchi.

Her glare obviously showed her complaint. She did not expect that Gu Jinchi would hit their son. It was really disappointing.

Su Qinglan also knew that she had scared Gu Yize today for she had forgotten herself. She told him the bedtime story and coaxed him to sleep before going to wash up.

As soon as Su Qinglan came out of the bathroom, she saw Gu Jinchi standing at the door. His eyes were fixed on her.

"You...I..." Su Qinglan held the towel awkwardly, not knowing how to face Gu Jinchi.

"Come with me." Gu Jinchi turned around and entered the study room.

Su Qinglan looked at her pajamas. After thinking about it for a while, she went into the study room directly.

In the study room, there was a thick stack of documents in front of Gu Jinchi. He stared at Su Qinglan with his dark eyes as if he wanted to read her mind.

Su Qinglan lowered her head silently.

"What happened today?" Gu Jinchi said in a soft voice as if to comfort her.

On hearing the word, Su Qinglan instantly let her guard down.

"Did you know it?" Su Qinglan forced a smile.

"We are married. You can tell me whatever happened," Gu Jinchi said unpleasantly.

Su Qinglan was embarrassed. She really didn't know how to tell Gu Jinchi what had happened. Could she say that she felt sad because she suddenly remembered her mother?

Su Qinglan couldn't bring herself to say it.

"Tell me." Gu Jinchi was ready to listen.

Thinking for a while, Su Qinglan said in short, "My grandmother gave me a document. My mother left it for me. It's about the division of Su Corporation."

Gu Jinchi was smart and immediately understood what she meant.

He got up and came in front of Su Qinglan. He held her in his arms and patted her back silently.

Once getting close to Gu Jinchi, Su Qinglan felt a sense of security. She relaxed in his arms.

The exhaustion of the whole day seemed to disappear at this moment.

"Mommy," Gu Yize suddenly called. Su Qinglan came to her senses all of a sudden and broke free from Gu Jinchi's arms hurriedly.

The door of the study was open. Gu Yize stood at the door and rubbed his eyes, asking, "Mommy, why are you here? Aren't you sleeping with me?"

Su Qinglan glanced at Gu Jinchi with a red face and nervously explained, "It's fine. Let's go to bed now."

She was just about to get close to Gu Yizi when her hand was gripped. Then, a slender figure quickly moved forward and picked Gu Yize up. "Go back to sleep with yourself." A cold voice rang out.

"No. I want to sleep with Mommy." Gu Yize struggled.

"You are already a big kid. Sleep with yourself," Gu Jinchi said strictly.

"You are a bad person. You always snatch Mommy from me." Gu Yize tried hard to struggle out of Gu Jinchi's grip, but failed for he wasn't that strong as Gu Jinchi.

Su Qinglan stood there awkwardly and rubbed her face hard, asking herself, "What's wrong with you? How could you be bewitched by beauty?"

She couldn't help but blush when she thought of the scene of her hugging Gu Jinchi just now. She was even reveling in the hug and turned sleepy.

Was it because Gu Jinchi was so good-looking that she lost her mind?

Su Qinglan's thoughts gradually drifted away.

A sudden knock on the door made her collected herself.

"Wha...what's wrong?" Su Qinglan looked at Gu Jinchi, who was standing at the door.

"Go back to sleep." Gu Jinchi turned to leave after saying it.

At the door of the bedroom, Su Qinglan paced back and forth, embarrassed to get in.

After everything that happened just now, she felt that she could no longer face Gu Jinchi. The scene that she hugged Gu Jinchi seemed to be her taking advantage of him.

She made mental preparations outside before pushing the door open with the bold manner as if she was going to die. Gu Jinchi was already leaning on the bed, reading a book.

Su Qinglan moved into the bedroom at the slowest speed and quietly went to the other side of the bed, lifting the quilt and lying down.

This bed was very big. She did not touch Gu Jinchi at all, but she could always feel the heat coming from his side.

She closed her eyes but could not calm down at all. Her heart beat like thunder.

Suddenly, she felt a breath tickling her face. Gu Jinchi's voice came close to her, "You..."

Su Qinglan didn't dare to open her eyes. However, Gu Jinchi didn't continue after a long time. She was nervous and couldn't sleep.

In the early morning the next day, Gu Yize went downstairs, pouting. He did not have much appetite when eating.

Su Qinglan gave Gu Yize a sandwich and asked worriedly, "Baby, why aren't you happy?"

"Humph, I'm a poor boy that no one loves." Gu Yize folded his arms across his chest and rolled his eyes.

"It's impossible! I love you the most." Su Qinglan hurriedly hugged Gu Yize.

"I don't believe you." Gu Yize retorted loudly and glared at Gu Jinchi, who was sitting in the seat with composure.

"Then what should I do to earn your trust?" Su Qinglan asked, amused. She didn't expect that Gu Yize would play a tantrum out of jealousy.

"I'm just a poor boy. You don't have to defend yourselves. I won't forgive you anyway," Gu Yize said firmly as if he was going to break off the relations with Su Qinglan and Gu Jinchi.

Just as Su Qinglan was about to coax Gu Yize, Gu Jinchi said coldly, "Eat your breakfast quickly and then go to school."

Shocked by Gu Jinchi's words, Gu Yize began to eat with grievance.

After the breakfast, Gu Yize changed his clothes and carried his small school bag before getting into the car.

Su Qinglan couldn't resist to smile when she looked at Gu Yize who had a tantrum.

Su Qinglan and Gu Yize didn't talked to each other until the car slowly stopped at the school gate. Gu Yize did not get off the car. He held his schoolbag with both hands and looked at Su Qinglan awkwardly.

Su Qinglan also remained silent.

"Well, if you can pick me up together from school in the afternoon, I will reluctantly forgive you," Gu Yize said reluctantly as if he had sacrificed a lot for this decision.

Su Qinglan held back her laughter and rubbed Gu Yize's head. He was really a child.

"Okay, I promise you that we will pick you up together."

"Don't break your promise. Otherwise, I won't love you anymore," Gu Yize shouted. He then got out of the car and scampered into the school.

When Su Qinglan and Gu Jinchi came to the company again, there were gossips about them and inquisitive looks from time to time.

Su Qinglan wanted to hide behind Gu Jinchi, but he held her wrist tightly, showing their intimacy to everyone.

She blushed all the way to the office.

Before entering the office, Gu Jinchi turned around and emphasized, "In the future, you must adapt to this kind of gaze."

Confused for a moment, Su Qinglan then nodded in a hurry.

Looking at the closed door in front of her, Su Qinglan frowned. How could she lose her composure in front of Gu Jinchi?

"Is there anything else?" asked Su Qinglan as she propped her arms on the desk and stared at her assistant.
