Rain POV The air in the garden was incredibly fresh, carrying the delicate scent of flowers. Compared to the stale air of the Undercity, the city above air alone was already amazing, but this was on a whole new level. I wanted to soak it all in, fearing that I might be trapped in that place again. "Should we have really left all of your family?" I asked Caleb, taking in the vibrant colors of the blooming flowers. "For now, yes. I'm not ready to share you," he chuckled, causing me to shake my head. "I'm sure all the girls from the training academy are missing you," I joked, hearing the distant chirping of birds. "Don't remind me of them. That was torture," he sighed. "You were like a magnet for all of them," I responded. "Only because of my title. They were all just power-hungry.
