The time had finally come to head to Ray's bar and put our plan into action. We would arrive two hours before her establishment opened.
Demons were formidable foes, often slipping away from capture. My goal was to end Ray's life, but I understood that, at the very least, I needed to secure her blood. Removing Rain
's demon mark and rescuing her from the Undercity was my top priority.
The entire day leading up to this point had been a grueling challenge. Mace was restless, consumed by worry for Rain and what she was up against. When I caught a glimpse of the monstrous creatures she faced, I nearly broke my promise and summoned her. But I held back and in the end, I was astounded by her prowess in battle, while concealing her true identity.
