Rain POV When I learned that Caleb had to fight, a wave of fear washed over me. Even before he uttered a word, I knew he had been holding back with me. But the thought of what Phelan had in store for him worried me. A surge of relief flooded through me when Caleb returned, almost unscathed from the battle. His body bore only a few minor scratches. However, upon discovering that a haunting sound was interfering with his wolf, my concern grew again. It was evident that they wanted him dead for possessing his power. Though I possessed a vial of Caleb's blood, I knew all too well that The Collector would never strike a deal with me. He sought to lure me into his clutches, nothing more.
