-Jacey- Caleb and I made our way back to the shore. Sure enough, our clothes and lifejackets were gone. But at least there was no bear. Since I was the one wearing boots, I picked a careful path through the rocks, leading Caleb deep enough into the water that we could both rinse off a bit.
