Lea
I wake up from my slumber, feeling so weak, cold, and confused. I reach my hands up to my throbbing head and look around myself recalling where I am. I feel a couple of tears sliding down my cheeks and breathe deeply.
“Dad…he is a vampire, I am sure.” I mind-link my dad.
“Lea!! Stay calm sweetie. We are going to rescue you.” He tries to reassure me, but his nervous voice doesn’t send me any calm vibes.
“Where are you?”
“I am at the border of the Vampire Realm, waiting with Elric, King Avalon, and King Laius. Richard is on his way to you.”
“Alone?” I ask, worried. I don’t want any harm to come to my wolf.
“He can do it, sweetheart. Don’t worry about him.”
“Have you checked on Nema and mom?” I question, as more tears and desperation crush me in waves.
Oh, Goddess, I hope she is fine! Please, please, don’t let anything happen to Nema, I pray.
“Nema is with Argo, she is fine. Some Fae has already healed her. Your mom is also fine, Sienna and Liv are with her now. Focus on yourself sweetheart.” He says with a sigh.
The haunting sound of steps makes me cut off my mind link, the vampire is coming again; with every step he takes, I feel my heart racing faster. I wrap my arms around myself and pray silently to the Goddess that Richard can arrive fast and safely; that he can arrive before it’s too late for me. I don’t try to hold back my tears, knowing that pretending I’m still asleep, would be of no use.
“Sleepy bloody beauty decided to be up again.” He says with his creepy smile. “It is time for another meal.”
I start trembling, as I hear his voice; it sends an icy shiver down my spine. “Please no….” I plead, crying.
“There is no use for your pleas, save them, witch!” He says, as he scoops me up in his arms, I try to squirm away, but he only tightens his hold on me. A hold that was already painful. He drops me on the bed with a loud noise and practically jumps over me.
What will he do next? …. No, no, NO!
“What are you doing? Please, don’t….” I cry.
“Shut up.” He slaps me hard in the face, making me clench my eyes in pain. A thin strip of blood runs down the corner of my broken lips. He collects it with his thumb and sucks it loudly, which makes my stomach churn.
“Much better like this.” The vampire mutters with a smile.
He rips one of the strips of my tank top and pulls it down brutally, making me gasp. I can feel my breath quickening to an insane rhythm and my heart follows the same path, as the dreadful feeling of panic washes over me.
The vampire crushes his teeth on the dainty skin above my collarbone making me cry out in pain, it hurts more than his bite on my neck. I try to breathe through the pain and fear, but even my breath is shaking and weak.
His hands snake down my body, one of them finds my thigh and he squeezes it, making me cry silently. I was afraid of making any noise and infuriate him even more. His other hand grabs my hip firmly, painfully. I swallow hard and clench my eyes closed again, just wishing for this torture to be over; but soon, before the vampire can abuse me further, I hear a door be busted open, and a feral growl makes the room’s walls vibrate. Richard.

When we are approaching the room, the Mutt says his mate is, I notice something odd. I can’t smell any she-wolf.
“Are you sure your b***h is here? I can’t smell wet dog.” I taunt him.
He growls in response; he is too bestial to be able to use words often. He has probably already said all the words he could for the entire month earlier at the border.
“Just go, I am sure.” He utters with another growl.
When we are even closer, my nostrils catch a smell. But it isn’t the wet dog reek I was expecting.
It is the most alluring smell, the sweet scent of blood, of a very tasty blood engulfed by an appealing womanly aroma. I couldn’t say for sure to which species that scent belonged to, but I know I’ve smelled it before, maybe it was slightly different…. But I’ve inhaled a scent like this at least once. It’s unforgettable.
Her blood is calling me, its scent fills my lungs, makes my mouth water, and my d**k throb. Broadrick, my main lieutenant and second in command, wasn’t into bitches, he was hypnotized by the holder of this luscious scent.
Her blood and her, in general, exhale the best scent I’ve ever inhaled by far.
Richard being the beast he is bursts the door open and growls, I follow her scent and the maddened wolf. In a second, I see the blasted Wolf throwing Broadrick across the room; and I look at her, the flask of the mesmerizing scent.
Blood is flowing freely from the white soft skin down her shoulders, all I want is to lick the trail of blood descending her milky skin. I look up at her face, she has long dark hair and THE amber-golden eyes. I remember her from 9 years ago.
***Flashback ***
I was at the party in which King Avalon was supposed to introduce his mate to the 6 Realms when I saw those eyes for the first time. She was only a child, probably younger than 10 years old. “This little girl is gorgeous” I commented looking intently at the child. “Her eyes hold fire and light”
“She looks tasty, her blood shall...” Broadrick muttered, licking his lips.
For some strange reason, his innocent comment infuriated me, and I felt an unknown kind of possessiveness towards her. I couldn’t understand it at that time, but now I finally can.
“Don’t you dare Broadrick!” I scowled him, in a calm and firm voice that had its intended effect, making Broderick tremble.
Broadrick knows me well enough to be aware that this tone of voice was normally followed by bloody scenery, not a beautiful and delectable one though, at least not for the person that would be on the other side of my fangs.

The girl grew up to be a gorgeous woman. We lock eyes, I could see her eyes going wide as she gulps hard, maybe she could feel it too. I stride towards her, my legs walking on their own accord.
But that dog said he is her mate, how is that even possible?

I hear the door burst open and Richard’s powerful growl fills the room, a second later I feel the vampire’s weight been taken off of my body. I open my eyes and use my elbows to prop myself up; I’m still very weak and lightheaded, I feel as if I could pass out at any moment.
I’m feeling so dizzy, that I am in some kind of semi-dreaming state, seeing the things happening before my eyes as a mere observer; without even be sure if what is happening is reality or some blood-loss-induced hallucination.
Looking through my heavy eyelids, I see Richard throwing the vampire who attacked me across the room and keeps punching him. But we weren’t the only ones in the room. I gaze at him, a pale blond male with violet eyes. Our eyes lock as if compelled by a magnetic force, I feel my lips get dry and I swallow hard, widening my eyes.
He comes closer to me and takes me into his embrace. I look at his face confusedly, what is he doing? He is a vampire too; will he attack me? I tremble, but I feel somehow safe in his arms.
My foggy gaze finds his beautiful violet eyes again, then I lower my gaze at my clothing status; my shirt was ripped off, and I am only in my strapless bra, I feel my blood racing up my face and neck. I am blushing and I want to hide myself. I think he understood what I’m feeling since he covers me with the cloak he was wearing, covering my exposed skin.
I hear a growl from Richard as he lays eyes on us, on this male having me in his arms, I want to push him away, but somehow, I can’t. I am so tired and something inside me makes me even doubt if I want him away.
“Stay away from my mate, Alexus!” Richard demands in a possessive and powerful growl, making me shiver a little and feel guilty to don’t fight to be away from this man’s, Alexus, hold.
“She is MY mate, dog,” Alexus utters, looking at Richard.
Richard was on the verge of cracking my attacker’s neck, but when he hears these words, he looks as shocked, as I am. He tilts his head and strides in our direction, as my attacker takes advantage of this moment of great shock and distraction to get free of Richard’s lethal hold and uses his super-speed to run away. Richard looks down at his hand that was one second ago around the vampire’s neck and curses under his breath.
“What do you mean? Get away from her! She is MINE!” Richard growls, I see his canines growing and his eyes start to glow, he is really edgy.
“She is my mate. I won’t go away from her. How come she is yours? She is MINE!” I could hear the loathe and venom in Alexus’ voice.
Richard is about to launch at him; it didn’t take me longer than a couple of seconds to figure that those two hate each other.
“Please stop,” I mutter. Richard looks at me intently.
“Lea, are you fine? Did he hurt you? Did he…?” His voice turns softer when he talks to me, but I still could hear the rage and pain in it.
“He just hurt me a little, my blood…” I murmur, my dizziness is growing and the throbbing in my head is getting unbearable, I try to blink this feeling away, but it doesn’t help.
“Give her to me!” Richard commands in a growling voice that makes the walls tremble and my breath catch.
Alexus only tightens his hold on me and presses my head against his chest as his other hand is wrapped under my hips, he lifts me slowly and adjusts me on his lap. I unconsciously wrap an arm around his neck, to have some support as my body seems unable to sustain its own weight.
I look at Richard, his hands have become huge paws, and he is quivering with rage; my gaze wanders up and meets Alexus’ eyes, he looks back at me. I can’t read the emotions in his eyes, they’re steady as calm waters, but there is a hint of surprise and possessiveness in them.
He presses me tighter against his chest and looks back at Richard. “No, she is mine!”
I can see Richard is about to launch at him again, maybe he is just controlling himself because I am in this man’s arms, this man that says he is my mate.
Could it be? I also feel something. Something draws me to him. Something in him calls for me.
Richard growls again, these two will kill each other. Goddess! Alexus stands up carrying me in his arms.
“I will take MY mate home!” he tells Richard and chuckles slightly.
“I will kill you, you f*cking bastard!!” he barks back.
I feel weaker and black spots dance across my vision as if my eyes were covered by a veil. “Please don’t fight.” I hear my weak whisper before I feel myself going limp in Alexus's arms.
