I couldn’t understand why our art class was being disturbed. Especially by the former Alpha. It certainly put me on edge. I stood nervously by the window in the lounge area looking out to the beautiful garden where one of the gardeners was busy at work maintaining the flowerbeds. I decided to watch him as a distraction. I needed something to focus on as a way to occupy my mind. I could hear the mindless chatter of the other she-wolves that had come into the lounge with me, all discussing what they believed was the reason why we had been asked to assemble here, but none had come up with a plausible explanation.
